2 Shotz is someone that doesn’t need any introduction to this game. This is the video off his upcoming album scheduled for release at the 4th quater of this year.
2Shotz real name William Orioha, Nigeria born on March 20 in surulere and also grew up at Festac and Ajao Estate. He started rapping in 1992 and after gathering some skills and experience, in 1999 he started a band “Foremen” and shortly afterwards he met eLdee of Da Trybesmen and joined the Trybe Records in 2000.
First album released by Foremen was “Men at Work” with hit singles “for the men” featuring Trybesmen. All within the same year, 2Shotz embarked on a solo career with the Trybesmen under the Trybe Record umbrella.
2Shotz recorded many hit singles like “Oya” with Da Trybe, “Delicious” with Big Lo, “Carry am go”, “Odeshi”, “Na Dem Sabi”, “Which Level”, “Make dem talk” to mention some.
His “Pirated Copy” Album which was released in 2004 got him international
recognition in 2005 he released another album “Original copy” under his own label Umunnamu Music Label and “Commericial Avenue” album also under the same label.
His 4th Album “Music Business” under the Tjoe records and Umunnamu Record label with smashing singles like “Incase u never know’ Ft. Timaya and “Thank You” Ft. 9ice.
His 5th Album released 2010 titled “I Am William” which features M.I, Shank, Jesse Jagz, Ice Prince, YQ, Enze, Lynx, Olstar & Waje with productions from Cobhams, Dr Frabz, Jesse Jagz, eLdee, Terry G, J-Smith, Spanky, M.I and Ikon. He is aruguably one of the few consistent new generation Nigerian acts.
He has premiered his sequel video after “Oyoyo” featuring YQ titled ”I am William” featuring M.I which was produced by M.I.
