Cee 2 – Dongo

Rasaq Olawale Olambiwoninu who’s stage name is Cee2  began his musical career in 1999 in collaboration with his Cousin Ibrahim and the pair named themselves courage brothers due to  their insatiable appetite to hit sublime in d music industry. This gave birth 2 the name Cee1 and Cee2 respectively. While d latter remains a popular name being called by Rasaq and had overshowed his real birth in the neighbourhood and the community at large The pair worked for a  couple of years and hoped for success in their tilted song (OMOGE GBO ) produced by engineer sammy, the producer of Oruka by Sunny Neji.  All hope was dashed as the track was not fully accepted in d market due 2 poor promotional effort. Other tracks then were, Kobami and Niger amongst all. In 2005, after some years of fruitless professional career,   courage brothers parted their ways and decides 2 test their fates as individual professionals. Cee2 showed a great resilience and decided 2 be unfazed by wasted professional career but proved 2 be steadfast and courageous
2 take his musical profession 2 d limelight.  He has worked with the likes of, slim joe, ekwe, micheal word. His hit track DONGO by M.X His uniqueness and ability too use metaphors proved his efficiency as he can sing wif Various style and wonderful melodious voice which makes people often tag him 9ja’s Akon. He’s currently signed to Kacus records.
