| June 27, 2012 | 0 Comments

Deejay Lee is a talented spin deck master, born and bred in Lagos but currently based in the United Kingdom. He started his career back in university (LASU) where he released his first mixtape titled ‘The Takeover‘ which went on to receive high praise & critical acclaim. He then went ahead to make ‘Lovers & Players‘ (a 34 track compilation of beautiful RnB); closely followed by the ‘Still I Rise Mixtape‘ back in 2010.
He then took a 9 month break from mixing to hone and dedicate time to his craft, returning with this sonically ground breaking tape: “The Naija Hustler’s Anthem (The Mixtape)”. This mix tape illustrates the story of Nigerian artists and reveals their struggles & aspirations through an hour long blend of authentic rap mixes, cooling it off & slowing it down with afro beat, thus creating an sonic atmosphere, no, experience that makes it undeniably one of the best street tapes so far this year.
In 2012, the creativity went onto new heights with the release of the last mixtape “The Afrobeat “UNTITLED” mixtape which had an incredible feedback which featured all current hit singles from December 2011 till March 2012 .
Now 6 months later the undisputed hit mixtape The Afrobeat “UNTITLED” Mixtape Vol 2 is bound to blow ur brains off. The tapes includes most current hit singles disturbing the waves of Nigerian Radio Stations. The mixtape includes artists such as, Omo Akin, D’banj, Terry G, Sarkodie, Fuse ODG, Davido, Wizkid, DJ Unbeatable, Ab’Fresh, E.L., Skuki and many more. Listen With caution ALERT; Highly Addictive.
