9ice, Faze, 14 others for Star Trek 2008

The list of artistes to participate in this year's edition of Star Trek, a music tour of major cities in Nigeria, has been released "Kolomental" Faze and "Gongo Aso" 9ice conspicuosly present.
Ruggedman, Olu Maintain, KC Presh, Mode 9, Tony Tetuila, Lord of Ajasa, Weird MC, Iban and Sasha also made the list.
The list of artistes to participate in this year's edition of Star Trek, a music tour of major cities in Nigeria, has been released "Kolomental" Faze and "Gongo Aso" 9ice conspicuosly present. Ruggedman, Olu Maintain, KC Presh, Mode 9, Tony Tetuila, Lord of Ajasa, Weird MC, Iban and Sasha also made the list.
Although Abass Obesere (the asakasa king) seems to be losign ground in the 'Fuji' music scene, he made the list ahead of the presently more popular duo of Saheed Osupa and Alabi Pasuma.
The tour is expected to take off at the popular Ibom Hall in Uyo, the Akwa-Ibom capital, this weekend and would continue through nine other cities in the country.
D' Accord, Da Jewels (both past Star Quest Winners), African China, Felix Duke and Tony Oneweek make up the list of the participating artistes.
Also, this year's winning band from Star Quest will perform live in concert for the first time at the opening of the tour in Uyo.
Residents of Uyo and its environs can all look forward to an exciting time as the artistes have expressed there willingness to use the state's edition to set the standard for the rest of the tour.
Fresh from Uncencored Basketmouth and Gbenga Adeyinka have been billed to be MCs of the event throughout the period.
