All is now set for the 10th edition of the annual Kennis Music Easter fiesta.
The foremost record label announced this week, at a world press conference in Lagos, that this year's two-part concert will be the biggest ever in the history of the annual fiesta, and the first to feature major international headlining acts.

Keke Ogungbe, CEO of Kennis Music told Journalists: A decade is a long time to pursue a dream, and we're happy with the support we've gotten from Nigerians all over the world. We're happy with the amount of impact we've made in 10 year. And as we look forwards to another exciting decade, we're calling on all our friends and fans of Nigerian music to come and witness the kind of concert they¢ve never seen before.

This year's event, according to him, will kick off at highbrow Planet One Hotel, in Maryland, Lagos on Friday March 21. The train moves to Kuramo beach on Easter Monday, March 24 for a finale that has now become a yearly ritual.

The Easter fiesta has always been in two parts commented Ogungbe. We have an indoor event and an outdoor event. Both shows represent the tow different calibre of audience we cater for, and it¢s always worked well for us.

And it will work even better this year, following the revelation this week, of an exciting line up that includes Jamaican dancehall sisters Brick & Lace; Nigerian-born cross-continent superstar 2face Idibia, new-kid-on-the-block 9ice and multi award-winning pop star D'banj. Other performers this year include ex-Remedies star Eedris Abdulkareem, KSB, Sound Sultan, Essence and Baba Dee. And that¢s not all. Followers of rave pop twins Psquare will have an overdose of jaw-dropping performance from the duo. Dare art Alade will renew his pact with fans and give and give exclusive performances of emerging hits from his forthcoming album. Stand-up comedians Tee A and AY will serve as comperes.

VETERAN Juju maestro King Sunny Ade will make a special scheduled live performance. It will be his second time on the Kennis stage, and the tireless performer confirmed during the week that he is looking forward to thrilling his legion of fans.

The line up is as interesting as it can get this year, says Keke's Partner Dayo Adeneye. Imagine if you have a baby that's 10 years old. You want to throw away all caution and throw a talk-of-the-town party. That's how we feel. This years Easter fiesta is not just another edition. It's the celebration of ten years of excellent music; ten years of elevating the arts, and showing that with focus and determination, man can achieve anything he sets his mind to.
